🚨 Man found dead in The Groves - unexplained death, multiple streets cordoned, arrest made - North Yorkshire Police are investigating after a man in his 50s was found in cardiac arrest on Brownlow Street in The Groves at around 4 am on Friday, 8 May. Despite the best efforts of paramedics for over 30 minutes, he was pronounced dead. Officers believe there was an incident in the area around 2 a.m., which may be relevant, and the death is being treated as unexplained. A 56-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident shortly afterwards and remains in custody.
