🏃‍♂️ Yorkshire Marathon sees 6,000 finishers - Over 6,000 runners from 65 countries completed yesterday’s Altra Yorkshire Marathon. Edward Buck won the men’s race in 2:18, while Heather Townsend retained her title with a new course record of 2:38. 🏏 Cricket legend laid to rest - Hundreds gathered in Barnsley yesterday for Dickie Bird’s funeral. Sir Geoffrey Boycott called him “the best umpire in the world” during an emotional service at St Mary’s Church.
